Wholistic Nut is a Los Angeles-based food company that thinks wholistically about the nature of our products and the impact we have on our local community and around the world.
The purveyor of delicious handmade almond milks and nut-based treats like ‘Blair’s Balls,’ Wholistic Nut is fanatical about providing quality whole food ingredients that satisfy the taste buds without the guilt. With a business model designed to minimize food waste, source local ingredients, and empower underserved women in Los Angeles, supporting community is at the heart of our values.
Our products are raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy free, and contain no refined sugar. We use only whole ingredients and the whole nut to make our products. We do this by using the leftover pulp from our nut milk, as well as from local juiceries, as the key ingredient in our signature product, Blair's Balls, to avoid food waste of any kind.
Our key ingredients, almonds and dates, are sourced from family-owned organic farms here in Southern California. Our products are all made by hand in Los Angeles, CA.
Blair's Balls
Perfect for 'on-the-go' snacking, a pre/post-workout energy boost, or guilt-free dessert option. Made with brown rice protein, each ball is packed with over 2g of vegan protein, has only 60 calories, and zero added sugar!
Blair's Butters
Our gourmet butters are the perfect compliment to your favorite breakfast, snack, or dessert! Slather them on a banana or a piece of toast, swirl it into yogurt, or eat straight up with a spoon! Made with same ingredients as our signature Blair's Balls and available in all the same flavors, these spreads contain no added sugar, are chock-full of protein, and taste absolutely delicious. Our almond milk is made simply with organic raw almonds, filtered water, and a few organic dates for added sweetness. The result is a rich, creamy, and satisfying milk alternative that is the perfect addition to your morning coffee, cereal, or favorite pudding! We promise that once you try our almond milk, you will never want the boxed stuff again!
Our Story
For as long as I can remember, I've been known as 'the nut girl.' I was lucky enough to have a mother who packed me lunch every day growing up, which always included a peanut butter sandwich, no jelly (ever). Little did I know then that these 'Holly Cobb lunches' would stick with me for years to come...
Cooking with Blair
Wholistic Nut is rolling out a series of workshops in Los Angeles designed to teach people how to make their own nut milk then re-use the pulp to make yummy, grain-free treats. I hope you'll join me!
